Job Introduction
Colas and Iveco are currently looking for an Apprentice Vehicle Sprayer to join our successful and expanding Mechanical Services Team in Ringmer.
Main Responsibility
During this Apprenticeship you would be using specialist equipment to safely work on vans and heavy vehicles such as lorries and and trailers. you will learn many skills including;
- to apply the right colour and finish to vehicles to cover repairs or remove scratches and minor damage.
- Set up the spray equipment
- Clean and prepare the surfaces to be painted
- Apply coats of primer
- Apply the main paint, followed by the finish
- Clean and maintain spray equipment
- Treat vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals.
The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role you will need to have a passion for learning and a good eye for detail. You will have good communication skills, be a team player and have a methodical and tidy approach to work as well as excellent time management skills.
