Body Shop Technician / Panel Beater

Job Introduction

Colas are looking to hire a Body Shop Technician for our busy and expanding Ringmer Mechanical Services team. The successful candidate will work to industry standards and maintain very high levels of quality repairs to our varied customer base. All aspects of body shop repair is carried out within our body shop and you will be assisted by three other fully trained personnel as well as other teams at Ringmer.

Contracts recently secured by Colas include:

Sussex and Surrey Police, South Downs NHS Trust and the East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service. We also work with South East Ambulance, Day Aggregates and many independent local companies.

Main Responsibility

High quality repairs to cars, vans, LGV’s , HGV’s, Horse boxes and trailers.

Preparing estimates using our systems (training available)

Working safely, methodically and in an organised manner

Attention to detail.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position with knowledge of the automotive industry. You will have good communication skills, be a team player and have a methodical and tidy approach to work as well as excellent time management skills.
