Job Introduction
Colas is looking for an Industrial Plant Manager / Engineer/ with experience in the managing of asphalt plant, crushing plant, emulsion plant and bitumen facilities. This is a full-time and permanent role based in the Birmingham area.
Main Responsibility
The position holder will be responsible for ensuring the Maintenance and CAPEX budget for industry plants in coordination with the industry managers/directors. This person will also ensure and manage the maintenance programme in coordination with the industry sites and visit the industrial plants as well as lead the action plan with the on-site teams. Additionally, this person will organise and follow the commission of industrial plants in case of new projects as well as ensure the safe and efficient running of Industrial plants.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a combination of the following:

Road industries knowledge

Able to compile reports.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good interpersonal and people management skills working in team or stand alone situations.

Good IT skills including Microsoft Office/Word/Excel/Outlook.

Full clean driving licence.
