Laboratory Technician

Job Introduction

Colas’ Technical Services department are responsible for ensuring our products are the highest quality before distributing to our external and internal customers. We’re looking for a Laboratory Technician, based in Rowfant, to support the department with daily operations.

Main Responsibility

You will be involved in the effective and efficient running of the laboratory, observing the safety policies of the company and the department at all times. You will be responsible for the undertaking of general Technical Services work both in the laboratory and on site as required by the seasonal programme.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re open to considering a variety of experience, but an education and interest in Chemistry would be preferred. You’ll ideally have previous experience working in a lab and writing/maintaining records. You’ll have a positive commitment to safety, be an excellent communicator both written and verbally and be able to travel when required, so it’s essential the successful candidate can drive with access to their own car.
