Job Introduction
As a result of growing demand, we’re looking for a Site Planner to manage current highways and civils projects in Kent. It’s important that the successful candidate is commutable to Kent and is occasionally flexible to commute to other locations when required, with a relevant programming/planning background in highways/civils construction.
Main Responsibility
As Planner you will to provide predominantly planning and programming on a major highways project using either Microsoft Planner or Primavera P6 software, depending on the Clients requirements. You will produce, manage, and update the construction programme and its communication to internal and external customers and major stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate
The perfect candidate will be educated to a professional level with a relevant degree and have a thorough understanding and experience in the use of both Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 Planning software. You will have extensive experience in programme and project management, project planning, including programme controls, project review, and cost and risk analysis. It will also be required to have the technical knowledge required to be able to review, check, comment on drawings for change, build-ability and quality, health and safety, and compliance with contract and legislation.
